Do you recommend motorway lessons for new drivers?

Motorway lessons are advantageous for new drivers.

The benefit that new drivers gain from taking proper instruction during motorway lessons far outweighs the cost.

Once the practical driving test has been passed a new driver can take to the motorway as soon as they feel the need. The motorway is quite possibly something that they are not yet ready for, but the motorway is where they are heading. Motorway lessons will properly prepare the new driver for the motorway experience.

Mile for mile the motorway network is the safest set of roads in Britain. Over the years several sets of statistics have proven that. The experience of driving on a motorway though is far different from the experience gained by driving along everyday roads in normal traffic circumstances.

It is not at all unusual that once a pupil has tried the motorway for themselves they give us a ring for a couple of hours tuition to explain to them what exactly is happening and how to fit into the general scheme of things properly. Motorways are just not like anything else!
