Attitude
Attitude - Displaying a good attitude to safety whilst driving is very positive
Attitude - A bad attitude is summed up by the attitude "get out of my way. I am coming through". Or words to that effect
If you are not prepared to give way at meet situations but instead try to get the other driver to stop when really you know that you should. If you stare at the pedestrians on approach to a crossing so that they will stay there instead of crossing. If you drive towards pedestrians crossing the road without slowing down so that they have to hurry up, or if you skim past cyclists with neither knowledge or concern that you have just scared them silly, then you do not deserve and most certainly will not get a driving licence.
Attitude - A good attitude does not mean smiling like a lunatic and stopping to enquire if shoppers would like to cross the road in front of you. Not by any means. You still have to get where you are going.
Attitude - You should recognise your responsibilities and give priority to others when you know that you should do so. A little bit of patience with the other road users of whatever type will pay you dividends in reduced stress. It will also take hardly any longer to complete your journey.
Attitude - If you can manage to maintain a good attitude throughout your driving life then you will be rewarded with pleasanter journeys through having less stress. You will also notice that other people will be more willing to be in the car with you. Nobody likes to drive with an angry driver.
