Driving in Adverse Weather Conditions
The skills required for driving in adverse weather conditions
I think it worth pointing out first that sometimes the weather conditions get so adverse that weather warnings are issued via local radio and television channels that travelling should not be undertaken unless it is absolutely necessary
These weather warnings are not issued lightly and are for your own good. If you are aware that such an adverse weather warning has been issued I would strongly advise against travelling in all but emergency circumstances.
If you do find it necessary to drive then please follow the advice of the emergency services and allow extra time for your journey. This is a somber point to have to make but if you rush in the adverse weather conditions discussed below then you might not get there at all.
Complacency makes adverse weather more dangerous than it need be. People do not have enough respect for the effects that a simple weather change can have on the performance of a vehicle or its driver.
