Mission Statement of Findley's Driving School
The first thought of most people is that a driving school only cares about generating business for their instructors
Findley's is pleased to turn this commonly accepted notion on its head
The mission statements of Findley's Driving School have to cover distinctly different groups of people about which we care very much. These include:- our pupils and the driving instruction industry in which we serve. It would be folly indeed to leave out the one thing that we all share, the common environment around us.
Statement of intent regarding:- Pupils
On behalf of our pupils Findley's driving school has the following stated aims:-
-
The provision of high quality driving lessons by professional instructors who are bound by the ten promises viewable on the homepage of this website.
Minimum service levels -
The provision of supporting knowledge to the public via this website, freely available and without hinderence from any prohibitive data gathering techniques.
The 'Knowledge Base' -
Adherence to the industry code of conduct to which Findley's is happy to comply and is viewable on this website.
Voluntary Code of Practice - A continually developing philosophy of customer service and professional development. We get better at serving you in a manner appropriate to your needs, at the same time we get better at providing driving lessons.
At Findley's we do not have anyone who is perfect but we are all trying hard!
Statement of intent regarding:- The driving instruction industry
The driving instruction industry is one which the public do not generally hold in high esteem. Through our minimum service pledges, instruction framework and customer service based approach we are doing all that we can to change this.
It is incumbent upon every member of the driving instruction industry to further the image of its professionalism in the eyes of the public. At findley's we take our share of the responsibility with pride.
Our intention at Findley's driving school is to be seen by our peers as an asset to the industry rather than a burden upon it.
Statement of intent regarding:- The environment
Findley's Driving School will, as far as reasonably possible, be as environmentally friendly as we are able.
The Environmental section
Furthermore it is our intention to make available to our pupils information regarding the effects of motoring on the environment. We aim to raise awareness of the issues related to buying, operating, maintaining and disposing of a motor vehicle so that our pupils can make better informed decisions themselves.
