Motorsport The term Motorsport covers a wide range of activities and the full spectrum of motoring history. Motorsport is probably the largest area of interest in the motoring domain. As you would expect this is reflected in the number of links. From the weird to the wonderful they are in here somewhere. I have tried to include a little of everything for all tastes but track based motorsport does seem to dominate. There has been no attempt made to order these links by type of motorsport so formula one road racing might be separated from formula two roadracing by sites that race on ice, mud, grass or anything else. Formed in 1996 by Mick Hyde and Phil Abbott, Radical Sportscars have progressively developed from its original concept of a low cost, one-make sports racing car, to a world player in the burgeoning extreme sportscar market. Peugeot motorsport. Peugeot Sport UK, in conjunction with TOTAL, have announced a new initiative to help aspiring rally drivers to compete in a well established quality gravel championship, in an affordable 206 car. The new cash bonus scheme will be available to competitors competing in the well established and highly respected Silkolene BTRDA 1400cc Championship. Competitors will need to be registered with the Peugeot Rally Club and driving a Peugeot 206 fitted with a specific Peugeot Sport conversion kit. These kits will be available from Peugeot Sports Special Tuning department at a cost of 5,995 including VAT. All the driver needs is a second hand 1,400cc three door Peugeot 206 to bolt the kit to and he/she is ready to compete. Mallory Park. Welcome to Mallory Park and our 2004 Season! Mallory Park is a great place, a special place to many people. Spectators, competitors, officials and more. Why? It's difficult to say but probably an amalgam of many factors. Races won… races lost…speed…action…excitement…history… Different things to different people. What is true is that Mallory Park offers spectators a great variety of exciting Motorsport events every weekend during the racing season. Motorbikes or cars, new or old. something for every true Motorsport enthusiast. Plenty of places for spectators to get really close to the action... plenty of places for competitors to overtake. And of course its not just about racing…at other times you can drive or ride around the very same circuit as competitors do…enjoying the sensations of high speed without the need to worry about traffic, speed limits or your licence! This site shows a small sample of the photographs I've taken at these events over the last six years. The samples have been selected to give a good idea of the atmosphere and the range of vehicles racing and on display. A few choice photos from other events are also included.
