Linking to Findley's Driving School

All links to this website are welcome

Reciprocal links are available on request

You will see that the information is provided freely and without the use of passwords or annoying pop up windows, and there is no need to leave any details at all.

Below you wil find link code to copy and reasons why websites
should link to each other either as one way links
or as paired reciprocal links
.

Linking to us benefits your site

Increased search engine relevence for your pages

Individual website pages benefit in the search engines ranking system if they contain links to pages from other websites with related content. If you look around this website you will find many one way external links.

The effect of a single link is not dramatic but every little helps.

Linking to us benefits your customers

By linking to this website you are providing your pupils with the availability of the entire highway code online. No chance of them losing a copy, and being online they might even read it! How many of them read it now do you think? Not many, if any.

The practical tutorials section is useful to them for boning up on the different procedures between lessons. It is designed as a memory aid and not a full instruction Manual. There is no way that it could replace the benefits of them having a proper driving instructor sitting beside them.

The articles section is growing and provides thoughts on topics that pupils may benefit from both whilst learning to drive, and others that may provide information for them that is more useful afterwards.

Go on, have a look. Do not miss this opportunity to provide your pupils with a free resource.

If you could consider contributing to either the articles or practical tutorials sections, your input would be most appreciated and there are additional benefits to yourself. Visit the Submission Guidelines page if you think that you can help, or of course; if you are wondering what the additional benefit is.

Have you considered a reciprocal link?

A reciprocal link is easily set up and benefits both parties. I am sure that you would like your website to benefit from targetted traffic.

If you have considered linking to us, have you considered the advantages of a reciprocal link? A simple text link from this site to yours will bring targetted traffic to your site. Because of its size and broad depth of knowledge, this site comes out on the first page of the search engine results for many terms related to learning to drive. After reading whatever takes their fancy here many users look to the links pages to find someone in their local area who can provide them with the tuition that they need........... that could quite easily be you!

If you link to our resources sections (the highway code section is not only useful but legally copied with permission from the crown copyright office) and we link to your homepage from our relevant driving schools page, you will benefit in terms of site visits.

More importantly the visitors will be that rare commodity:

Targetted customer traffic that are particularly looking for an A.D.I in your area. Targetted advertising with no cost. You cannot possibly lose!

From your point of view, your customers get the benefits of the different knowledge based sections of this website; and you will receive site visits from people who have found you via this website after having found us on a web search or from friends. Youngsters in particular tend to 'swap notes' on things that they find useful. The number of hits on this site constantly rises. Evidence enough I think.

I can see the cynics amongst you thinking, 'ah, very good, but then my customers use your resources and decide to swap driving schools you bugger'. It does not happen this way.

Even in the town that we are based in, if your pupils are happy in your vehicle then they will stay there.

If they are looking for a driving instructor in this area on a search engine they will find this site first anyway.

So how does Findley's benefit?

There are three ways:

Firstly, the inbound link helps my page to rank better.

Secondly, making the knowledge base publicly available helps us to fulfill our obligations as detailed in the mission statement.

Thirdly, the proprietor of Findley's Driving School also owns the company that writes, hosts and develops this website.

'The provision of knowledge to the public, freely available and without hinderence from prohibitive marketing or data gathering techniques'. Need I say more here.

Please feel free to read the mission statement in full on its own page.

Told you we weren't after your customers. This site is used regularly by Administered Websites as a demonstration to their potential clients of different techniques or technologies that they might benefit from.

Apart from the general layout and forms this site is built on a raft of technology that can be demonstrated to, or by, the technically aware.

Copying the code.

If you maintain your own website then just copy and paste

You know how to do it. The code is all here. If someone else maintains your website on your behalf then please direct them to this page so that they can do it for you.

If you are now interested in a reciprocal link please copy and paste the links to whichever resources that you wish to link to from the relevant box/s below and then send the information requested on the Reciprocal linking page. If you just want the links then thank you, help yourself.

Simply copy and paste whatever code you need directly into your webpage. All code provided below is compliant to XHTML 1.0 STRICT programming standards so will be understood correctly by all modern browsers.

Please feel free to adjust the presentation of the links in any way that fits in with the presentational requirements of your own website. I would appreciate it though if you would keep the link and the link text the same.

Thank you,

Martyn Findley.
