Mirrors In Pairs

We never perform a single mirror check

If the vehicle is moving then we must perform mirror checks whenever we have to move away from our normal drive position.

If we are changing direction to the right then we must check the centre mirror followed by the right side exterior mirror.

If we are changing direction to the left then we must check the centre mirror followed by the left side exterior mirror.

We always check the centre mirror first because this is where danger is most likely to come from. secondly we check the exterior mirror which corresponds with our direction of travel to ensure that no-one has already began to overtake us on that side.
