What is performance related stress?

Performance related stress is the name for the nervous feeling that you will/have had on the day of your driving test

Some people deal with performance related stress better than others

Basically put, stage performers and sports people share one thing in common with a driving test candidate. There is an expectation for them to perform well on the day against a set criteria, whatever that may be for them. This expectation induces stressful feelings which can lead to butterflies in the stomach, physical shaking, breathlessness, crying and feelings of sickness amongst other things.

It is perfectly normal.

I have had many, many driving test candidates and I have seen all of the above in real life. The answer to this question became long enough that I moved it to the articles section and called it Nervous ? How to approach the practical test.
