There are driving schools out there who do discriminate on demographic grounds.

There have been surveys in the past that have shown the demographics of pass rates. These surveys showed which types of pupils were statistically proven to be more likely to pass first time. No suprise really that the pupils over thirty did not do as well as the teenagers who have been in full time education and are therefore used to soaking up new knowledge.

As far as I am concerned instructors who discriminate on these grounds are a shame on the industry and should remove themselves from the register of approved driving instructors.
