How long does it take to qualify as an A.D.I?
The qualification period will vary from person to person
There is no right or wrong here. It is all down to circumstance
While you are training you have a life other than this so your time is restricted. You have to complete the course within two years of registering with the registrar in Nottingham but that is the only time limit.
I would recommend getting your parts one and two out of the way as quickly as possible. The part three is the one that people find the most difficult and it can be reassuring to know that there is time for more training if necessary.
The schedule of your trainer is also a factor. If they are busy with other commitments they may not be able to give you their time as often as you might like.
Personally it took me about eigteen months from registration to passing the part three. I would like to have completed it all quicker but work commitments and my trainers schedule got in the way. Test dates are not always as near as you would wish them to be either. I remember waiting months for my part two and three tests. The waiting times may or may not have been brought down by now but they are still a factor.
