Do you still do driving lessons in bad weather?

We still do driving lessons in bad weather if the instructor judges that it would benefit the pupil.

Bad weather to one person is mild weather to another. For an instructor to cancel driving lessons due to bad weather they have got to believe that the conditions are hazardous enough to cancel their driving lessons.

I have known pupils in the past who were suprised when I turned up in the rain. I will concede the point that it was their second lesson but the rain was falling no harder than on an average rainy day.

I mention this just as an illustration of the point that what is bad weather to one person may be quite acceptable to another.

Please accept that your instructor is the best judge of your readiness to drive in bad weather. Lets face it. After your practical driving test, if you want to go somewhere in your car you will take some stopping. You might as well get used to doing it properly now.
