Can I pay for this driving lesson next time?

On occasion a pupil will turn up for a lesson without the fee and ask to pay double next lesson.

If you do find yourself genuinely without the funds to pay for your lesson and your instructor is due to arrive then please have the courtesy to ask the question at the beginning of the lesson when you first get into the car.

As driving instructors we are paid by the hour. If a block booking has not been taken in advance then we expect to be paid at the beginning of every individual lesson.

We are however human beings and understand that sometimes things do not run as smoothly as they should. Personally my own view is that if I am asked at the beginning of the lesson I will agree but ask that you try hard not to let this situation happen again. If a pupil of mine is cheeky enough to leave it to the end and ask me after I have delivered an hour of instruction then I will often say 'No'. This is inconvenient for pupils when they have to nip off to try and borrow the fee from someone.

At Findley's we are not licensed credit brokers and therefore cannot offer credit under any circumstances. If a pupil asks too often to pay next lesson then an individual instructor has it at their own discretion as to whether they continue to teach the pupil or not.
