Please take a look at these services and also our ten minimum levels of service, and before booking anywhere else make certain that they can provide at least the same levels of service and free resources.

As a pupil of Findley's Driving School your practical test will be booked for you. We will need to take some essential information from you in advance, and the fee of course, to enable us to book the test.
There is an advantage to you in letting us book the practical test on your behalf as we can make certain that there is no chance of a clash of test dates taking place.
Your instructor will be very good,but they can still only be in one place at a time.
Some pupils insist upon booking their own tests once the instructor has told them that they are ready. This is your perogative of course, but if a clash of dates does occur due to us already having a practical test date booked for another pupil; then it is your responsibility to get your test date changed.
To book your practical driving test we will insist upon payment before booking.
Your driving instructor will tell you when you are ready to apply for the practical driving test. Their knowledge and experience puts them in the best position to judge when you are ready. It is not in their benefit to give you any more lessons than you actually require.
We are well aware of our responsibilities under the data protection act.
At Findley's driving school we will not keep your information one day longer than necessary. Once you have lodged your information with us you can rest assured that it is well secured, will never be given out to anyone else.
At Findley's driving school we believe in rewarding those pupils who pass on our good name. We know as well as anyone else that word of mouth is the very best form of advertising there is.
If a new pupil starts to take lessons with us and tells us that they came to us because of a recommendation from yourself, then as our way of saying thank you we will reward you with a free driving lesson.
Once they have taken and paid for their first driving lesson, your reward will be a that your next driving lesson will be provided by us free of charge as a thank you.
Your free driving lesson will be the first one booked following the date that the new pupil pays for their first lesson.
The online 'Knowledge Base' which includes, practical tutorials, articles, and the complete highway code is available to you 24hrs a day.
These sections are all invaluable in your quest for knowledge.
The Practical Tutorials have all been written by a professional driving instructor.
Findley's driving school is pleased to be able to provide them for you free of charge and rest assured, over time the number of tutorials will only increase.
The next stage of development for this section of the website includes a total rewrite of all tutorials to include pictures and where possible animations,making them even more informative and easier to navigate than they are now.
Practical Tutorials
The Articles are expansions of questions that we have been asked in the past. On a lesson sometimes only a quick answer is possible.
Pupils have asked some interesting questions of us and it was thought worthwhile to provide extended answers. Take a look in the articles section and you will see what we mean.
As time allows there will be further articles added to the site. I do have a small list of topics to be covered but please do not let that put you off. If there is something that you wish to see covered in greater detail then feel free to use the contact page and send an e-mail with your suggestion for the topic of an article.
If you tell me what you would like to read, I am more likely to write about it.

The articles here are for your reference if you wish to use them. Not directly related to your driving education it is, I believe, non-the-less a fact that we as car owners do more damage to the environment than the manufacturers do.
